ARC accelerates the growth of global air travel by delivering forward-looking travel data, flexible distribution services and other innovative industry solutions. We are a leading travel intelligence company with the world’s largest, most comprehensive global airline ticket dataset, including more than 15 billion passenger flights. By working here, you can contribute to solutions and expertise that strengthen economies and enrich lives. We think big, embrace challenges and explore new ideas to lead the way for the travel industry.

ARC is looking for a Program Manager to join our team! In this role, you will manage a diverse IT program with multiple initiatives and workstreams. You will work with business and program leads to communicate business and technical strategy.  As a Program Manager, you will provide and maintain program plans/roadmaps that include current year key initiatives and outyear strategic goals. You will drive program leads to deliver results that align to the organization's strategy.  The Program Manager will implement program governance to manage risks, issues, and dependencies, control program financials, understand resource allocation (both ARC and vendor partner) and available capacity, and manage change. Additionally, you will communicate program plans/roadmaps, delivery progress, risks/issues, program financials, and other aspects of the program to executives and business counterpart.  Lastly, you will act as a liaison to the program to increase awareness of key initiatives, understand and track interdependencies, and coordinate with other programs.

What You'll Get to Do:

  1. Manage the program using a results-oriented approach so that program leads, team members, and business counterparts focus on key initiatives and drive program execution to deliver expected outcomes.
  2. Establish and communicate the program governance. Ensure there is uniformity in planning outcomes, reporting, communication, and escalation processes. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to implementing those improvements when applicable.
  3. Act as a liaison for the program to other Business Technology groups/programs and across ARC to increase awareness of the program, identify, communicate, and track interdependencies, and ensure coordination.
  4. Identify or gather, track, and report on program risks and issues, ensuring communication is proactive and transparent. Collaborate with stakeholders within Business Technology, vendor partner, and external to the organization to develop mitigation strategies and identify appropriate risk / issue owner. Ensure mitigation is invoked if a risk is realized.
  5. Support the creation of the program's plans/roadmaps for the current year and outyears. Promote the program plan/roadmap and communicate its alignment to ARC's strategy and portfolio to build understanding with the program leads, business counterparts, and executives of the desired delivery outcomes. Track progress against the program plan/roadmap and revise when changes are approved or necessary.
  6. Manage program financials and scope, including forecasts, resource allocation, budget estimates and other aspects to have a holistic view of program costs and available budget and capacity. Incorporate change management to understand impacts to the budget and resources (both vendor and ARC) and realign the forecast accordingly.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with preference for a degree in a technical field
  • 5-7 years of experience in project and program management,
  • 3+ years of IT project related experience preferred, including programs following traditional, scrum, and scaled agile management approaches
