ARC is searching for an Instructional Designer & Trainer to shape and lead the building, deployment and embedding of cutting-edge, perceptibly impactful training & development strategies in fast-moving, dynamic environments. In this role, you will be expected to gain knowledge quickly and apply that knowledge to support the assessment of organizational needs and drive the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs to promote continuous learning for ARC’s customers. You will have the opportunity to exhibit strong project management skills to work across various workstreams and functional areas to accomplish learning and business objectives to build and adhere to the training project plan and calendar. Additionally, you will manage training discovery, planning, curriculum, and material development with a primary focus on Salesforce, data products portfolio and ARC systems modernization. As well as designing and developing these materials for a range of full training programs; eLearning modules, self-service videos, reference guides, webinars and in-person trainings, you will be tasked with ensuring consistency and accuracy of presented trainings, content, and material design to optimize learning. An ideal candidate will showcase an aptitude to conduct post evaluation activities to confirm the relevancy and accuracy of all training created and produced. Also, you will work to evaluate training strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals through analytics and generating progress reports.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Formulate a training strategy for all initiatives across multiple workstreams with a key focus on Salesforce.
  • Establish logistics for each training topic, delivery vehicle and method. The type of training vehicles used should be based on the needs of the audience.
  • Develop a thorough, scalable, and repeatable training framework, assessing needs, business resources, and deliverables.
  • Determine training curriculum criteria to design various training vehicles in the appropriate medium and tools. Establish logistics and for each training topic and delivery vehicle and method. The type of training vehicles used should be based on the needs of the audience.
  • Proficient in development, implementation and conducting training options in a variety of different modalities for various products, tools, and systems. Able to work autonomously in eLearning software tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360, and Adobe Captivate.
  • Institute learning guiding principles. Employ guiding principles that result in an approach that is targeted to individual roles across key focus areas. Enable users to access training that is unique to their needs and on-demand.
  • Interpret Jira EPICs and User Stories to understand the technical capabilities being launched and how to translate that into training materials.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing for all training products that are developed and create an evaluation process. Conduct a periodic review for all training and course materials to ensure all are up-to-date and remain relevant.
  • Analyze and create reports based on the feedback and data collected through the follow-up training evaluations and periodic reviews. Report on the findings - propose, develop, and implement solutions as needed based on the findings.
  • Generate usage and financial reports to measure and analyze training participation along with their associated costs and revenue.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years’ experience; Background in change management related to enterprise system releases a plus
  • Salesforce Associate or Administrator Certification is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge developing Salesforce training materials and familiarity with leveraging Trailhead training. Understanding of Sales Cloud, Service, CPQ, in-app guidance, and technology adoption learning
  • Experience creating training for data product releases and technology enhancements
  • Strong project management and able to organize information effectively
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently within tight timelines to meet deadlines
  • Extensive analytical skills to solve problems quickly and to exceed expectations
  • Excellent writing skills, including copy editing; Able to communicate visually and verbally, including facilitating trainings and meetings
  • Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to carry ideas through to implementation
  • Flexibility to pivot quickly and change course as warranted by the work
  • Skilled in instructional design and instructional technology
  • Multi-media proficient (i.e., online videos, eLearning tools software, audio, course development software)
